The City of Hamamatsu runs the “Hamamatsu Miraikko” program, which provides
elementary and junior high school students in the city with opportunities to visit local
companies and experience the workplace firsthand, with the aim of conveying the appeal of
working for local businesses to the children who will shape the future.
We support the objectives of this initiative and have joined this year’s “Hamamatsu
Miraikko” program.
On the day of the event, we held the following activities:
- Presentation on CNC routers and our company
- Tour of the company, factory, and showroom
- Hands-on workshop to create “acrylic smartphone and tablet stands”
- Group photo
Standing in front of an CNC router—a machine they had never seen before—they asked
lots of questions and watched with great interest as we machined smartphone and tablet
stands.
We hope this will be a fun summer vacation memory for all of you.
